Alejandro Garnacho, a teenage winger, has been another significant success story for the 53-year-old. The young showman has had a real breakout season, scoring five goals and dishing out five assists in 34 appearances on all fronts.
The 18-year-old initially attracted attention after helping the club win the FA Youth Cup in the 2021–2022 season, scoring twice in the championship victory at Old Trafford. Since then, he has overcome early concerns about his attitude to become an essential member of the Red Devils squad, particularly being hailed as a “game changer” off the bench by journalist Samuel Luckhurst.

Mario Kempes, a legend in Argentina, has praised the “personality” of the young speedster and even said that Garnacho “reminds him of [Kylian] Mbappe.”
The fact that the United star is already having an impact at such a young age is a testament to his talent, especially in light of the fact that Mbappe, who has scored 239 goals in his club career, made his Monaco debut in 2015 at the age of just 16.
Garnacho, 24, has demonstrated his ability to rise to the occasion somewhat like the Frenchman, who scored a hat-trick in last year’s World Cup final. He scored against Leeds United at Elland Road and also made an assist against Manchester City in January.
