Manchester United are one of two Premier League clubs considering a transfer for Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to Fichajes (h / t Manchester Evening News).
Liverpool are also interested in signing the 29-year-old. The Merseysiders are leading the way to bring the Croatian to the Premier League next summer.
Brozovic joined Serie A in the 2014/15 season. Since then, the 29-year-old has been a constant in Inter’s engine room. The Croatian’s current contract is in effect until 2026 and he earns around £ 200k a week with the Italian giants.
The midfielder is also an established national. Brozovic played the full 90 minutes in the 2018 World Cup final for Zlatko Dalic’s side. Unfortunately, Croatia lost 4-2 to France.
The midfielder played in multiple positions for the Nerazzurri. The 29-year-old has played mostly in the number six and box-to-box positions for the Serie A giants.
In the current season under Simone Inzaghi, the Croatian has once again maintained his place in the starting XI. The 29-year-old has made nine appearances for Inter, scoring two goals.
Man United parted ways with several midfielders in the summer of 2022. Among others, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Jesse Lingard left the Old Trafford squad. Andreas Pereira and James Garner have also been sold by the Red Devils.
