Granit Xhaka embarrassed BT Sport after Arsenal defeated Chelsea on Sunday, having to apologize for swearing in a heated post-match interview at Stamford Bridge.
The Gunners won a hard-fought battle in west London, with Gabriel’s goal the deciding factor in a 1-0 victory.
It was a well-deserved three points for Mikel Arteta’s side, who were clearly the better of the two teams, and they now sit atop the Premier League.
Xhaka was clearly pumped up after the game, soaking up the praise from the travelling fans at Stamford Bridge and forgetting for a second that he was live on television.
‘You should see the atmosphere; it’s f***ing incredible.’ Sorry!’ Xhaka told BT Sport.
‘From start to finish, I believe we deserved to win today.’ Today, we were a much, much, much better team.
‘We are overjoyed that everything is going so well right now. We are following everything the coach says, and these are the results.
