Fan footage shows perfect angle of the moment Aaron Ramsdale was attacked

A Tottenham Hotspur supporter perfectly captured the moment another fan kicked Aaron Ramsdale, as well as the Richarlison altercation.

One thing missing from the pitch during the north London derby was a bit of blood and thunder, with just the six yellow cards handed out.

Perhaps if Spurs had shown a little more fight, they wouldn’t have fallen two goals behind thanks to Hugo Lloris’ gaffe and Martin Odegaard’s brilliant strike.

Antonio Conte’s team improved in the second half, as is their wont, and Ramsdale was named Player of the Match for several excellent saves.

However, things did turn ugly after the game, with a Spurs fan coming down from the stands and kicking the visiting team’s player.

The whole thing started when Ramsdale responded to the boos he’d been getting from the fans behind him throughout the second half by celebrating towards them at the final whistle.

Spurs forward Richarlison, who had a falling out with Brazil teammate Gabriel Martinelli, was furious and went over to shush the keeper before becoming even more enraged and punching him in the head.

When the fan fell and was missed by stewards, Ramsdale walked away and went to get his water bottle from behind the goal.

A steward pushed the fan away after he scurried away and into the crowd after kicking out at the former Bournemouth goalkeeper.

“We are appalled by the behavior of the clubs,” the clubs said in a statement.
