Anthony Martial, a forward for Manchester United and France, is said to have “lost all patience” with Erik ten Hag, who will reportedly “dump” him this summer.
Martial had a loan stint at La Liga team Sevilla at the end of the 2021/22 season, and his career appeared to be over going into this one.
But he received a new start for this season, just like many of his United teammates. He was one of the club’s best players during preseason, so at first it appeared he would make the most of this chance.
Martial, however, returned to form once this season started. He has been injured for a large portion of the season, and when he has been healthy enough to play, he has flattered to deceive.
Only ten of Martial’s Premier League games this season have he started. He has played in 27 games across all competitions, contributing to 11 goals.
Because Martial’s contract expires in 2024, Ten Hag anticipates overhauling his team this summer. Martial is also anticipated to leave when the transfer window opens.
According to The Sun, Ten Hag and the board “have lost all patience after the star’s latest sulk” and “Man Utd will dump Martial.”
Martial left the pitch immediately after being replaced during United’s weekend 1-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth. Ten Hag now “wants him out” because the forward gave “another underwhelming performance.”
Ten Hag is reportedly looking to sign two new strikers this summer, according to a report from last week. They’ll probably take their places in place of Martial and Wout Weghorst.
Man Utd have improved since Ten Hag joined the team, but this year they have had trouble scoring goals. They have the lowest scoring average among the six teams in the top spots. In 36 games in the Premier League, they have only scored 52 goals.

Martial acknowledged earlier this month that Manchester United have “struggled to convert chances” this year.
We have a great team and a great squad, you know. We’re in a good position, and if we put in a lot of effort from now until the end of the campaign, we can finish in the top four,” Martial told United’s internal media.
“I think it will be really important. It’s always good when you’re a striker to get back on the scoresheet and to help the team with goals. When you score early in a game, I believe your confidence increases.
“It’s true that we have struggled at times this season to take advantage of the opportunities we’ve given ourselves, and let’s face it, we have given ourselves a lot of opportunities. We put a lot of effort into it during training.
