The terms of a prospective deal to recruit defender Sacha Boey from Galatasaray have been “informed” to Arsenal, and they include the fact that he is expected to cost roughly £22 million this summer.
Arsenal may sign a few people this summer.
After missing out on winning their first Premier League championship in over 20 years, the Gunners and manager Mikel Arteta are aiming to strengthen a number of crucial areas of the team.
The champions Man City, who are also on pace to perhaps win a historic triple, beat Arsenal to the punch after controlling the race for much of the 2022–2023 season.
In north London, Arteta and the sporting director are already formulating plans to make significant acquisitions this summer.
Sporting director Edu stated, “Our planning has already been done,” in April (ESPN via 90min).The owners have already received it. Right now, we’re moving slowly. We’re concerned with how the season will end, but we’ve planned forward, and I’m eager.
Arsenal is rumoured to be interested in a number of midfielders, with Declan Rice of West Ham and Moises Caicedo of Brighton drawing significant interest.
At right-back, where Real Valladolid talent Ivan Fresneda and Boey have been linked with a transfer to the Emirates Stadium, defensive additions are also top of the list.

Reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has some news for supporters on the latter target.
Romano reports that although Arsenal have been “informed” that they can sign Boey for about £22 million, no actual negotiations or communication with the player’s representation have yet taken place.
“At the moment, Boey has been informed of the terms of the €25 million deal,” I was told. It’s still a quiet issue right now since I’m not aware of any clear contract between Arsenal and his representation about discussions.
Sacha Boey, who is he?
Only Victor Nelsson and Fernando Muslera played more minutes in the league than the 22-year-old for Galatasary last season (WhoScored).
Boey’s importance to the Turkish Super Lig team is shown by the fact that he averaged their joint-highest rate of tackles per 90 and second-highest number of interceptions domestically (WhoScored).
Bacary Sagna, a former defender for the Arsenal, recently commented on the Boey rumours and said that he would “perfectly” fit in under Arteta.
