Kai Havertz’s transfer to Arsenal appears to be moving along quickly.
The Gunners appear to be moving quickly on this deal despite earlier this week’s speculation linking the German with a move to the Emirates.
In fact, according to Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, Havertz and Arsenal almost already have a deal in place regarding personal terms. The only thing that remains to be worked out is a deal with Chelsea regarding the fee.
Almost reached an understanding between Havertz and Arsenal.
Romano revealed what he knows about Chelsea’s ‘talented’ ace.
“Important information about Kai Havertz from Arsenal. I believe the contract proposal has the approval of Kai Havertz and his representatives. He is willing to accept. Kai Havertz is willing to accept an offer from Arsenal because 90% of the personal terms have been reached. Chelsea’s initial demand was for £70 to £75 million, but sources believe Chelsea will be flexible on that one, according to Romano. Arsenal will not pay that amount.

This week’s rumour was unexpected, but it now appears that Havertz may end up being Arsenal’s first summer acquisition.
In fact, that move appears to be stalling as competition for Declan Rice heats up and Arsenal’s initial offer is turned down, while the Havertz move is moving forward apace.
According to Romano, the German and Arsenal are nearly in agreement regarding personal terms, and Chelsea is open to negotiating the price.
Havertz might unexpectedly be playing for Arsenal the following season if this case is resolved quickly.
This only serves to demonstrate how quickly the transfer window can begin to move.
