Mikel Arteta has been told Wolves star Ruben Neves signing is the perfect midfielder for Arsenal
The Gunners did a great transfer job during the transfer window – they signed a number of players who have already impressed the squad.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League, having won five of their first six Premier League games, and many believe they can go ahead and compete for more than a spot in the top four.
Neves was a player the club was closely linked to during the summer period – and many thought he might end up with the Emirates – but the Wolves didn’t want to sell their star and didn’t want to ask for a move.
But now – Journalist Paul Brown came out and claimed that Ruben Neves could have been that midfielder missing Arteta in the middle of the pitch
.
He told GIVEMESPORT: “I think they just lost that player who connects defense and attack and can play the ball over the top or pass out first to unleash a runner.
“That Ruben Neves player would have been perfect – or James Ward Prowse.
“I don’t think their midfield is weak, but they seem to have a lot of very similar players. So I think there is a lack of balance.
