Adrien Rabiot of Juventus would be interested in joining Arsenal.
The Frenchman has struggled for playing time at Juventus this season, and he wants more guaranteed football at this stage of his career because he is not getting any younger.
Despite being one of the game’s most gifted central midfielders, Rabiot has never quite adapted to Italian football as many had hoped, and Juventus are also keen to get his massive £7M a season wages off the books.
He is out of contract at the end of the season, and with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta keen to add some quality to his squad, there have been some rumors that the Gunners will make a move for him.
‘Arsenal made some big signings in the summer that are still settling in, but the squad is really impressive.
‘But they have a squad that needs some depth, so even though Rabiot’s move to Italy did not work out, he is still a classy player.
‘It is no secret that he wants to play in the Premier League, so we believe that a move to Arsenal would be one that he is truly interested in, as it would give him a fresh start in the game.’
Rabiot is a brilliantly gifted midfielder who has simply not adapted to Italian football – his career has not progressed as many had hoped.
A new start in the Premier League could rekindle his passion for the game.
So, if Mikel Arteta truly wants to add depth to the squad, we believe he would be a very good addition to that Gunners squad.
