Eintracht Frankfurt club director Markus Krösche has stated that the club is unsure whether or not Arsenal target Evan Ndicka will remain at the club.

There has been much speculation in the media that Ndicka is a player the Gunners are keen on signing, and if all reports are to be believed, the German club are willing to do a deal if the right price is offered.

The defender is one of the Bundesliga’s most talented young center-backs, and a number of clubs are interested in a potential deal, especially since he is out of contract at the end of the current season.

The German side has made him a contract offer in the hope that he will agree to a new contract – but he has refused.

“There has not yet been a decision as to which direction to go,” Markus Krösche told Sports Bild.

“We also did not issue an ultimatum to them.” The offer is still open, and we are in negotiations.”

The news comes after journalist Peter O’Rourke expressed his belief that Ndicka would be interested in moving to the Emirates, telling GiveMeSport: “Ndicka has good experience playing in Europe.”

“He’s currently playing in the Champions League for Frankfurt, and I’m sure a move to Arsenal would be appealing to him because Arsenal are a club on the rise right now.”
