According to reports, Liverpool are ready to make a contract offer to Inter Milan creative playmaker Marcelo Brozovic.
Despite signing Arthur Melo on a season-long loan from Serie A giants, Juventus, during the summer transfer window, the Merseyside Reds are thought to be looking to strengthen their midfield in 2023.
The Reds are one of several clubs interested in England international Jude Bellingham, but they are also considering other options.
The Liverpool Echo reports that the Reds are preparing a deal offer for Croatia international Brozovic, who was tentatively linked with the club earlier this summer.
Although Brozovic signed a new contract in March that will keep him at San Siro until 2026, the Merseyside Reds are willing to offer the 29-year-old a two-year deal with a one-year option.
Jurgen Klopp’s side could face stiff competition for the player’s services, with PSG and Manchester United both rumored to be interested.
Brozovic has two goals in nine appearances this season, but has missed Inter’s last two games due to a hamstring injury.
