BEN DOAK’S rise to stardom continued after making his Premier League debut.
The former Celtic winger replaced Darwin Nunez in Liverpool’s win against Aston Villa tonight.
Doak has been on a steep upward trajectory ever since leaving the Hoops in the summer.
The winger joined the Reds for a £600,000 fee after last season after his impressive performances for the youth teams.
And even despite only being 17 years old the youngster has been making waves at the top level of football.
He lit up the show in the UEFA Youth League when he visited his old rivals Rangers.
He was responsible a the jaw-dropping solo effort which saw him skip past three blue jerseys and score with an outside of the boot effort.
And even ‘Pool veteran James Milner has been singing his praises in recent times.
He heaped praise on Doak after he made two cup sub appearances before the World Cup.
He said: “You see someone like Ben Doak come on the other night at a similar age and do well.
