In the upcoming weeks, Liverpool will be searching for a replacement for Fabinho because reports indicate that the Brazilian is travelling to Saudi Arabia.
The midfielder has been left off the preseason tour team and is expected to leave Liverpool for a significant fee of about £40 million.
This has fueled speculation that Liverpool will now need to sign yet another midfielder to replace him. The Reds have work to do, and Jordan Henderson’s future is still up in the air.
Many individuals have been mentioned in connection with a move to Anfield. However, Liverpool journalist Neil Jones said this morning on his YouTube channel that Benfica’s Florentino Luis is a name that Liverpool fans should keep an eye on.
“A player who plays for Benfica is Florentino Luis, and I urge you to keep an eye out for him. He might be a contender, in my opinion. He’s a defensive midfielder who moves around the pitch and pokes his foot in, very Fabinho-like. Luis is a much better option for Liverpool to consider if they’re looking for a like-for-like replacement, according to Jones.
Keep an eye on that name, then. Although I haven’t heard of anything progressing on that one yet, I would definitely keep it in mind.

It seems clear that Luis is a player who suits Klopp and Liverpool. He was described on Breaking The Lines as a midfielder who is “aggressive presser of the ball,” among other things.
We are aware that Liverpool has conducted business with Benfica in the past, so the club benefits from the relationship.
Fans of Liverpool should also keep an eye on this new name. It will be interesting to see who the Reds ultimately choose and whether or not Luis becomes a household name.
