Adrien Rabiot, a midfielder for Juventus, is still a target for Manchester United, according Corriere dello Sport (via SportWitness).
This season, the French star has been in outstanding form for the Serie A powerhouses. He has made 47 appearances and has contributed 11 goals and 6 assists from centre midfield.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Man United has ‘came back stronger’ to recruit the 28-year-old, who will become a free agent at the end of June when his contract with Juventus expires.
However, Bayern Munich is expected to provide the Premier League powerhouses fierce competition for the player’s services.

At the start of this season, Rabiot was expected to join United, but negotiations stalled over personal issues. The Brazilian was later signed by the Red Devils from Real Madrid, and the move has shown to be a wise one.
Now, it appears that United is preparing a novel strategy to sign Rabiot. The former PSG star, who declined the opportunity to extend his Juventus contract, is now free to sign with any team this summer.
The Frenchman would be a terrific addition due to his inventiveness and defensive abilities. Although there won’t be a transfer price involved, United still has work to do since they need to reach a personal agreement with the seasoned player.
It will be interesting to see whether they can come to a compromise. In addition to Rabiot, it appears that United is seriously pursuing a trade for Chelsea star Mason Mount and have just started negotiations with the London giants.
The team may lose certain midfielders if they decide to sign both Rabiot and Mount. The possibility of selling players like Fred and Donny van de Beek during the forthcoming summer transfer window exists.
United has large summer spending plans, and some of those plans may depend on player sales.
