Trevoh Chalobah, a defender for Chelsea, is apparently a target for Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.

The young Blues player making £50,000 a week has more than held his own this season, giving it his all for a side that has had a tonne of difficulty in the Premier League.
Chalobah had six appearances in the Champions League and started 18 of Chelsea’s 38 league games, which is a commendable performance for a young player.
It is unclear, however, if the next manager of the Blues, Mauricio Pochettino, would view the Englishman as a crucial player at Stamford Bridge going forward once the player reports for preseason.
However, Chalobah’s current contract goes until the summer of 2028, so any interest in him would probably require a sizable offer to be made.

Football Insider claims that Inter have “made a move” to sign Chalobah during the summer transfer window because they view him as an interesting player to sign. The player himself is apparently “keen to hold talks if permitted by his club,” and they have reportedly “contacted the Londoners to register their interest in a potential deal.”
The fact that the future Champions League finalists “made enquiries over his availability in January as they were keen on a deal back then” suggests that they have long been admirers of the Chelsea player, who is even mentioned in the statement.
Having been referred to as “the future of this club” by colleague Thiago Silva, Chalobah is still a huge prospect who has the potential to become a vital player in west London at some point. He has also been referred to as “unbelievable” by former Manchester United and England center-back Rio Ferdinand, which further emphasises his brilliance.
Pochettino may need to bring in genuinely elite defenders in their primes this summer, especially with Silva and Kalidou Koulibaly now in their 30s (the former is actually almost 40), so Chelsea must at least consider accepting a sizable offer for the three-time England Under-21 cap.
considering Chalobah’s contract status, the Blues are in a solid position to keep him. However, considering his long-term potential, the club should take his desire to transfer in order to increase his playing time into consideration.
