Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool star and current member of Bayern Munich, has been predicted by Dean Saunders to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal this summer.
The ex-forward claimed that if Sadio Mane joined Arsenal, “he might win you the league,” as the team seeks to advance after making a comeback to the Champions League this year.
Saunders said on talkSPORT that Mane would be “what a signing” for Arsenal. Last summer, Mane left Liverpool for Bayern Munich for £35 million (Sky Sports), but things have not gone well for the 31-year-old.
at spite of the Gunners, there are rumours that the Senegal star may return to the Premier League this summer due of how poorly his stint at Munich has gone.
He went from punching Leroy Sane to becoming an unused substitute on the last day of the season as Thomas Tuchel’s team won the Bundesliga title in thrilling fashion.
While other teams have been considered as potential destinations for Mane this summer, Saunders chose to add Arsenal to the list.
“I have one for you, he might win you the league,” Saunders remarked of Arsenal. “Mane. That would truly be a signing! Anywhere, he plays. He plays with the middle open.

Mane is no longer a good match for Arsenal.
He loves to play off the left or down the middle, but Arteta is rather crowded down that left channel, and a true striker is more needed down the middle than a player of Mane’s calibre.
Mane doesn’t fit the profile of the player Arsenal has been seeking in recent years because he recently finished a season of struggle and isn’t getting any younger.
The fact that they wouldn’t likely pursue Mane’s signing at this time only illustrates how much north London has developed.
