Aymeric Laporte has been linked to Arsenal, and he might make the ideal partner for William Saliba. It’s been told to Mikel Arteta.

As Mikel Arteta continues to pursue players who have established themselves at the top of the game, ARSENAL is searching for defensive reinforcements this summer.

Declan Rice was brought in to protect the back line from his defensive midfielder duties, while Juurien Timber was brought in to give the back line a little more versatility.

Pep Guardiola is looking to update his squad this summer, and it appears that 29-year-old Laporte will leave the Etihad Stadium. There has been some speculation that Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Juventus are all interested in Laporte.

According to recent reports on the sun, Arteta has made early contact regarding a potential deal and will be attempting to utilise his close relationship with the City hierarchy given that the big clubs are also interested.

The Gunners have now been informed that Laporte might make the ideal Saliba partner.

THE COMMENTS MADE –

Laporte moving to Arsenal, according to journalist Paul Brown, “I think that would actually be quite a nice fit.” He would work really well for Arsenal, in my opinion. I’ve previously mentioned that I have my doubts about Joao Cancelo, but Laporte seems like he would fit in well at Arsenal.

He seems to have the type of profile that would fit in well with a few of the existing centre backs at the club, according to the analyst.

He is, in my opinion, dependable, knowledgeable, and accustomed to success. If Arsenal could pull it off, I have a feeling that would be a really good move.

But I believe there is still some time before something similar occurs.

CAN LAPORTE TRANSFER TO ARSENAL?

Although we don’t think that ARSENAL have a chance, he would be a fantastic addition to that Gunners squad if Pep Guardiola feels that he can’t get the best out of Laporte in the future.

Simply put, we don’t know if Man City will want to continue doing business with the Gunners.
