Manchester United confirmed earlier in the day that they had acquired Brazilian attacker Antony from Ajax.
If media rumors are to be believed, the Red Devils have reportedly reached an agreement to transfer an attacker from Old Trafford.
Manchester Evening News claims that Birmingham City and the Red Devils have reached an agreement for Tahith Chong, a Dutch playmaker, to join them.
According to the news source, the 22-year-old superstar will sign a five-year contract with the Blues, who are currently having trouble in the Championship.
Chong, a potential player, transferred to Man United from Eredivisie team Feyenoord.
The talented player, who can play in numerous offensive positions, received a new deal worth £30,000 per week two years ago when playing for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (The Sun).
He didn’t start a single Premier League game, though, and is now departing the 20-time English winners. Chong has appeared in 16 games for United’s senior team overall and has contributed 2 assists.
He started 18 Championship games last season while on loan to Birmingham, where he also contributed three assists and one goal.
