Liverpool want to sign ‘amazing’ PL central midfielder now, he blew Sergio Aguero away this month

According to reports, Liverpool see Alexis MacAllister as an ideal midfielder. The World Cup was won by the Brighton star.

This is from the Italian newspaper La Repubblica. Liverpool are said to be among the clubs interested in Alexis MacAllister.

Now, there’s little reason to believe Brighton would sell Mac Allister. That hasn’t stopped clubs from lining up to sign the World Cup winner.

Benfica and Borussia Dortmund are rumored to be leading the chase, and it’s easy to see why. In 2023, Enzo Fernández and Jude Bellingham could both leave their respective clubs for large sums of money.

Mac Allister would make an excellent replacement for each. Giants, on the other hand, are ready to compete with the two clubs. Juventus is consistently mentioned in the report as having a lot of interest, and Inter is also mentioned. That makes sense, given that they were named by an Italian outlet.

Liverpool, on the other hand, appears to see Mac Allister as an ideal addition to their midfield.

There is no doubt that Mac Allister would be an excellent addition to the Liverpool squad. We’d rather have Jude Bellingham and Enzo Fernández. Both are players who face stiff competition from large clubs.

Mac Allister should not be put ahead of either on Liverpool’s shortlist, but he should be there.

The Argentine can play as a no.10 as well as a deeper midfielder.

Sergio Aguero raved about Mac Allister after the tournament.

“Mac Allister is another who had an incredible World Cup and it does not surprise me to read that he is already coveted by other teams. “He’s young and bright,” he told Sussex Live.
All of this, in addition to his Premier League experience. Yes, Brighton would demand a large sum of money to let him go, but we’d love to have him.

If things go wrong in 2023 and neither Enzo nor Bellingham end up in Liverpool, we’d like to see Mac Allister as a backup.
